Rules of the Sew Along

1. Period appropriate outfit, any period suitable for SCA
2. Use period fabrics where possible
3. Exposed stitching must be done by hand
4. Includes leg coverings (socks, hose, wraps etc)
5. Must be at least 3 layers of clothing (ie smock, inner dress, outer dress or smock, dress, cloak or other combination)
6. Has appropriate head covering
7. Accessories (belt, pouch, jewelry)
8. Has some form of hand worked embellishment (embroidery, weaving, leatherwork etc)
9. Must be all your own work
10. Completion Date: Shire of Dragons Bay Demo in late 2012.

By joining in you agree to stick to the rules, post progress photos and participate in the show-and-tell get togethers.

Posh Outer Dress

So thanks to Lady Petronilla I have this gorgeous fabric which is going to be made into an outer frock:  I hope to have this ready for the Aneala 25th event in a fortnight....eeep!

This is the basis for my outer dress, I'm not sure about the big silky sleeve bit but I will be making a black underdress to go with it and then see how I go with the sleeve part.  Getting excited now!
